Summary

When two men claim a single throne, can a Kingdom be saved? The warrior Lo'Gosh shares both the face and memories of Varian Wrynn - but clearly only one man can wear the crown。 With the help of old friends Broll and Valeera, and new allies like Thargas Anvilmar, Lo'Gosh is determined to wrest control from the hands of this impostor。 But is Varian really his enemy? Walter Simonson, Jon Buran, and Mike Bowden discover the truth in World of Warcraft Book Two。 Originally published by Wildstorm's World of Warcraft #8-14。

As with my other warcraft comic review this keeps answering questions that we had for a long time and a worthwhile read。

The first half was way better。 It seems like on the 2nd half, the narrator forgot about some characters and their development and the story and dialogue were mostly focused on just giving info。 The fact that I read the physical copy pumped up my enjoyment。Also the anduin from the books and the one here are 2 different people。Valeera still wins the trophy for best ass。

If you are into World of Warcraft and want some light reading - this book hits the spot。 You get to follow the adventures of Varian Wrynn and his mates, Broll and Valeera, and we're introduced to a young Andiun Wrynn, future king of Stormwind and leader of the Alliance。 Nothing super special here, but a good light read if you want a WoW fix outside the game。 If you are into World of Warcraft and want some light reading - this book hits the spot。 You get to follow the adventures of Varian Wrynn and his mates, Broll and Valeera, and we're introduced to a young Andiun Wrynn, future king of Stormwind and leader of the Alliance。 Nothing super special here, but a good light read if you want a WoW fix outside the game。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 A história é bem bacana, toda a influência da onyxia em stormwind, o que deu as 3 estrelas。 Mas igual o outro fascículo tudo é resolvido na base do tiro, porrada e bomba。 O que se torna enfadonho de ler。

Good conclusion to the Onyxia Conspiracy with showing some cool moments for the characters granted the Anvilmar thing felt a little unneeded but it was still pretty good。 Also it shows why I liked Anduin and loved him trying to solve the mystery himself and how he fought against Onyxia showing how clever of a character he is。

World of Warcraft Volumes 1-2 tell an entertaining enough story, although at times it definitely reads like a sales pitch for the game in case the reader hasn't played it yet。 For the most part, though, I had a fun time reading through this collection and recalling early memories playing WoW for the first time during the Burning Crusade era。 Recommended for fans of WoW lore and those who enjoy good campy fantasy。 World of Warcraft Volumes 1-2 tell an entertaining enough story, although at times it definitely reads like a sales pitch for the game in case the reader hasn't played it yet。 For the most part, though, I had a fun time reading through this collection and recalling early memories playing WoW for the first time during the Burning Crusade era。 Recommended for fans of WoW lore and those who enjoy good campy fantasy。 。。。more

Incredibly well written second part of this series including great character arcs and showing them as every day humans in a GoT style way of there not being pure good and bad guys。 Instead characters with mixed backgrounds and reasons for their behavior。

If you're a WoW fan you will sure enjoy this read! Specially if you're a big fan of Varian Wryn and his backstory。 It's full of references to the universe and other well-known characters of the games。 If not, you will also enjoy it (but maybe not at the same level) because the plot is very self explainable。One bad thing to say about it is that sometimes characters overexplain the situation。 I can already see you're struggling to fight your enemy, I don't need you to describe it to me。 But it's f If you're a WoW fan you will sure enjoy this read! Good read for Wow fansA good story grounded in the original “vanilla” vision of Warcraft using storytelling visuals and iconography firmly based in the existing library of the game。 Fab stuff。

I'm not a fan of comics but I loved reading this one, simply because it's about Warcraft。 The art is beautiful, the story is engaging and concludes well。I don't wish to say more simply because I spoiled myself part of the story by reading about the comic。 I'm not a fan of comics but I loved reading this one, simply because it's about Warcraft。 The art is beautiful, the story is engaging and concludes well。I don't wish to say more simply because I spoiled myself part of the story by reading about the comic。 。。。more

While the storylines in this are predictable to the point of absurdity in some cases, things were engaging enough to keep me interested through the book and enjoying some of the action scenes。 The time scale in this is weird - it feels like some sections get more pages than they need, while others are skimping, giving it a jerky stop-start feeling。 Not a fan of that。 I actually got quite a kick out of Anduin, though it seems like everything he's ever written into he's the smartest and most level While the storylines in this are predictable to the point of absurdity in some cases, things were engaging enough to keep me interested through the book and enjoying some of the action scenes。 The time scale in this is weird - it feels like some sections get more pages than they need, while others are skimping, giving it a jerky stop-start feeling。 Not a fan of that。 I actually got quite a kick out of Anduin, though it seems like everything he's ever written into he's the smartest and most level-headed person in the room。 Its not terribly surprising when he's put next to someone like his dad, but it starts to reach into the Marty Stu territory when we get an ensemble cast。The art is still crisp, cartoony and utterly ridiculous when a woman is trying to do anything remotely aerobic。 The colorish is earning his or her money - the vibrancy of the colors is really what makes this art stand out for me as anything more than a Ramos wanna-be。 。。。more

I got this from the library to read to my kids and I'm glad I didn't。 I started reading it at work and became paranoid that one of my coworkers would see some of the ridiculously oversexualized female characters, or the blood splashing on every other page。 After a few minutes of trying to hid the book, I realized if I was so worried about them judging me I probably shouldn't be reading it in the first place。 So I stopped and felt strangely liberated。 Abundant cleavage aside, I loved the art。 The I got this from the library to read to my kids and I'm glad I didn't。 I started reading it at work and became paranoid that one of my coworkers would see some of the ridiculously oversexualized female characters, or the blood splashing on every other page。 After a few minutes of trying to hid the book, I realized if I was so worried about them judging me I probably shouldn't be reading it in the first place。 So I stopped and felt strangely liberated。 Abundant cleavage aside, I loved the art。 The story was okay, but those action sequences were still as confusing as ever。 You just have to kind of read quickly and not try to understand who just got impaled by who。 。。。more

This is the 2nd collection of World of Warcraft comics。 The story with our three main characters adds a fourth as the series culminates in a final showdown with ---- nah, that would spoil it :) -----。 This was a great series if you like World of Warcraft lore。 I don't play as much as I used to, but love the world that was created for that game。 The only thing I would have preferred was to have the entire story in one hardback collection vs。 split into two。 This is the 2nd collection of World of Warcraft comics。 The story with our three main characters adds a fourth as the series culminates in a final showdown with ---- nah, that would spoil it :) -----。 This was a great series if you like World of Warcraft lore。 I don't play as much as I used to, but love the world that was created for that game。 The only thing I would have preferred was to have the entire story in one hardback collection vs。 split into two。 。。。more

This is the continuation of the adventures of Lo'Gosh and his two new friends after his memory has returned and he realizes that he's the king of Stormwind, only to discover that there's an "imposter" in Stormwind claiming to be king。 This comic reveals the truth of what happened that fateful night and reveals Lady Prestor's true identity。 I really enjoyed, the comics and manga they do for Warcraft are just amazing and add so much to the game。 This is the continuation of the adventures of Lo'Gosh and his two new friends after his memory has returned and he realizes that he's the king of Stormwind, only to discover that there's an "imposter" in Stormwind claiming to be king。 This comic reveals the truth of what happened that fateful night and reveals Lady Prestor's true identity。 I really enjoyed, the comics and manga they do for Warcraft are just amazing and add so much to the game。 。。。more

The artwork is good, but the action scenes don't flow together well。 Here the heroes battle Onyxia, which feels like an old storyline by now。 The artwork is good, but the action scenes don't flow together well。 Here the heroes battle Onyxia, which feels like an old storyline by now。 。。。more
